Long Island Roller Rebel News
On Saturday June 8th 2013 the Long Island Roller Rebels proudly presents the Rock-A-Betty Bruiser's vs. New Jersey Roller Derby! These two teams have yet to meet on the track, but the competitive level of play is sure to be the fast paced, hard hitting, derby action that our fans love!! NJRD is based out of Morristown, NJ and is an apprentice league to the WFTDA. LIRR is proud to host and support them on their way to becoming full WFTDA members. Doors will be at 7pm and the bout will start promptly at 8pm! Beer served by our AWESOME NEW Sponsors, Pabst Blue Ribbon!!
The Long Island Roller Rebels are also working with Long Island Cares to collect canned goods and non-perishable food items for members of the Long Island Community who were victims of Hurricane Sandy. Please bring canned food and/or non-perishable food items to the bout and receive 2 free raffle tickets!
BRING A CHAIR and sit rink side! Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door! Children under 8 are FREE! Tickets can be purchased at Skate Safe, from BrownPaperTickets.com, from C-Roll at 7-11 in Amityville or from any Long Island Roller Rebel!
